Whenever you want to find a new topic to write about, just open Google and type relevant keywords in the search box.
For example, if you type the word “sweater,” Google will immediately suggest related search terms such as “sweaters for cats,” or “sweaters with collars.” Both can be great topics for your blog if you sell sweaters!
If you hit the “search” button you will find even more suggestions. Just scroll to the bottom of the page where you will find a section called “Related searches.”
Continuing with our example, if you search “sweater” on Google, the related searches include “long sweaters” and “cardigan sweaters,” which also make for great blog ideas. Think for example, of a blog titled “Long sweaters: the pros and cons” or “Why are cardigan sweaters called like that?”
How to Find New Topics for Your Blog: Answer the Public
If you want something more sophisticated, then you have to give Answer the Public a try.
This tool offers a limited number of daily searches to non-paying users, so use it wisely, or become a paying customer if you find it useful.
All you have to do is to type a keyword and select a country and Answer the Public will show you a comprehensive list of questions that people ask about that subject on search engines.
The search for “sweaters” shows almost 200 related questions and terms (such as “what sweaters are in style in 2021?” and “sweaters to wear with dresses”): a veritable motherlode of content for your blog!
